Fire Weather Watch
Statement as of 10:46 PM MST on May 11, 2008

... Fire Weather Watch remains in effect from 9 am MST Monday
through Monday evening...

A Fire Weather Watch remains in effect from 9 am MST Monday
through Monday evening.

A low pressure system developing over the Great Basin will bring
strong southwest winds to central and northern Arizona Monday.
Sustained wind speeds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts near 40 mph are
likely. Minimum relative humidities of 5 to 11 percent are
expected east of Flagstaff. There is some uncertainty regarding
humidity values... especially in the higher terrain north and west
of Flagstaff as an increase in moisture is possible ahead of the
incoming system... watch for later updates.

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are possible. Look for later forecasts and possible upgrades to
red flag warnings.

Please notify field crews of this Fire Weather Watch.
