... Fire Weather Watch in effect from late Tuesday morning through
early evening...
The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a Fire Weather
Watch... which is in effect from late Tuesday morning through early
evening.
Increasing afternoon winds will combine with low relative humidity
across western portions of Grand Canyon country... and the Coconino
and Kaibab plateaus. Southwest winds could gust over 30 mph with
relative humidities ranging from 10 to 15 percent. Winds should
diminish and relative humidities should recover by Tuesday evening.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are possible. Listen for later forecasts and possible red flag
warnings.
