| Now At 2:30 PM...National Weather Service radars continued to indicate showers and developing thunderstorms over portions of eastern Oklahoma. The activity was located south of a Ashland to cloudy line. Movement was to the northeast at 30 miles an hour. Through 4 PM...showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop and spread across eastern Oklahoma and western sections of Arkansas. Most of the activity will remain east of Highway 75. A Tornado Watch is now in effect for a large part of eastern Oklahoma until 9 PM. All residents of eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas are urged to monitor NOAA all hazards radio...or local television and radio for later statements and warnings from the National Weather Service in Tulsa. |
