the following areas... in central Alabama... Autauga... Blount...
Chilton... Coosa... Dallas... Elmore... Jefferson... Lowndes...
Montgomery... Shelby... St. Clair and Talladega. In east central
Alabama... Calhoun... Chambers... Clay... Cleburne... Lee... Macon...
Randolph... Russell and Tallapoosa. In northeast Alabama...
Cherokee and Etowah. In southeast Alabama... Barbour... Bullock
and Pike.

* From this evening through Tuesday afternoon

* as Hurricane Ida makes landfall through the overnight hours on
Monday... heavy rain is expected to spread across much of the
eastern half of central Alabama Monday night through the day on
Tuesday. Rainfall totals from 3 to 6 inches are likely... with possibly
higher amounts in localized areas within the effected counties.

Sustained easterly winds of 10 to 20 mph can be expected by
