Now A few isolated showers and thunderstorms have developed near the coast of Alabama and northwest Florida...moving east at 10 to 15 mph. Further development...mostly scattered in coverage...can be expected mostly south of the I-10 corridor through 9 am. Occasional cloud to ground lightning...wind gusts to around 30 mph and brief periods of very heavy rain will be the main threat with some of the stronger thunderstorms through 900 am. |
