Now Scattered showers with embedded isolated thunderstorms will move north at 20 to 25 mph across portions of southwest Alabama and the western Florida Panhandle...including the offshore waters...through 8 am CDT. Some of the storms from time to time have the potential of producing brief strong wind gusts from 25 to 35 mph. Most hourly rainfall amounts will remain below one-quarter of an inch...but brief and localized heavy downpours up to one inch can also be expected in a one to two hour period. |
