for
the Alabama River near Millers Ferry dam
* until late Sunday night
* at 8am Thursday the stage was 66.7 feet
* minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast
* flood stage is 66.0 feet
* the river will continue rising to near 70.8 feet by tomorrow early afternoon.
The river will fall below flood stage Sunday evening.
At 66.0 feet, farm and pasturelands in the area will flood and cattle should be
moved to higher ground.

the Cahaba river at Centreville.
* Until this evening... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 8 am Thursday the stage was 23.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 23 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
late this morning.
* Impact... at 23 feet... pasturelands begin to flood in the
Centreville area.

* Until Friday afternoon... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 8 am Thursday the stage was 37.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 35 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
early tomorrow .
* Impact... at 35 feet... extensive overflow of lowlands in the area
occurs.
