Flood Warning

The Flood Warning continues for
the Black Warrior river at the Selden lock and dam.
* Until Saturday evening... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 8 am Thursday the stage was 93.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 90 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 94.4 feet by this
evening. The river will fall below flood stage Saturday morning.
* Impact... at 94 feet... some secondary roads in the area begin to
flood. Flooding of farm and pasturelands will continue in the area.
