... The Flood Warning remains in effect until 500 PM ADT Friday for
ice jam flooding on the Tanana river from Old Minto to the mouth of
the tolovana river...

There are multiple ice jams on the Tanana river between Old Minto
to the mouth of the tolovana river.

An ice jam near Old Minto has caused the water levels to rise and
has produced significant flooding at Old Minto. An areal survey
indicated that the Tanana river has inundated the Village with
approximately 3 feet of water. There are also reports of multiple
ice jams in this stretch of the Tanana river. Water levels will
continue to fluctuate until the ice jams have been released and the
ice has moved down river.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. Take
necessary precautions immediately.
