Showers and thunderstorms northeast of Fairbanks near Chena Hot Springs resort are moving southeast. Gusty winds and small hail could be associated with these storms. Rainfall amounts up to one quarter of an inch are possible. Several fires such as Lunch Lake...Minto flats south and Bear Creek are well west of Fairbanks...but the smoke will remain in the area through tonight.
