Monroe County in western New York...
this includes the cities of... Rochester... Greece... gates-North
Gates... gates...

* until 630 PM EDT

* at 333 PM EDT several clusters of thunderstorms were moving toward
Monroe County. The most intense storms were moving in from the
southwest... with additional storms moving in from the east. Very
heavy rains will focus on the entire Rochester Metro area from
4 PM to 6 PM... possibly as much as two inches.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause elevated levels on
small creeks and streams... and ponding of water in urban areas...
highways... streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage
areas and low lying spots. This will seriously impact the afternoon
commute.
