Cunene River to Walvis Bay: wind : NW to NE 5 to 15 in the north at first, otherwise S to SW 10 to 20, becoming NE in the north towards the end of the period. Vis : poor in fog patches from evening, otherwise good.
Walvis Bay to the Orange River: wind : SW 5 to 15, becoming NW 5 to 15 from the afternoon. Vis : good but poor in fog in the north by evening, becoming poor in isolated showers in the south from tomorrow afternoon. Sea state: 2.0m towards the end of the period, mainly SW swell, moderating.
Orange River to cape agulhas: wind : NW 10 to 20. Vis : good, becoming poor in isolated showers from tomorrow afternoon. Sea state: 2.0 to 2.5m, with W to SW swell.
Cape Agulhas to east london: wind : N to NW 10 to 15 in the east at first, otherwise NE 10 to 20, becoming SW 5 to 15 in the west towards the end of the period. Vis : good, becoming moderate in light rain in the west towards the end of the period. Sea state: 2.0 to 2.5m, mainly SW swell.
East London to Maputo: wind : NW 10 to 15 in the south at first, otherwise N to NE 10 to 20 reaching 25 in the north towards the end of the period, but se 5 to 10 between port St Johns and Richards Bay at times in the second half of the period. Vis : good. Sea state: 2.0m in the south in the second half of the period, with SW swell.
Mozambique channel: wind : S to se 15 to 20, reaching 25 in the North-East and becoming NE 10 to 15 in the South-West towards the end of the period vis : good but moderate in isolated showers in the North. Sea state: 2m in the south in the first half of the period.
