Synopsis A weak stationary front will gradually dissipate south of the marine area tonight and Sunday. Northerly flow behind this front will swing back around to the west by this evening. Gradient tightens a bit on Sunday between high pressure over the central Gulf and a weak front approaching from the north. Winds will increase by Sunday afternoon to near cautionary levels out of the west and southwest and remain near these levels through a good portion of Sunday night. Subtropical ridge begins to build back north toward the marine area Monday into Tuesday allowing the gradient to weaken slightly and keep southwest flow generally under headline criteria.

Sunday West wind 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to 20 knots in by afternoon. Seas 2 to 3 feet building to 3 to 5 feet in the afternoon. Protected waters a light to moderate chop increasing to a moderate chop.

Sunday Night West wind 15 to 20 knots decreasing to 10 to 15 knots late. Seas 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 3 to 4 feet. Protected waters moderate chop.

Monday West wind 10 to 15 knots becoming southwest in the afternoon...then decreasing to around 10 knots in the evening. Seas 3 to 4 feet subsiding to 2 to 3 feet in the evening. Protected waters a light to moderate chop becoming a light chop.
