Tropical storm conditions expected with hurricane conditions possible. East winds 25 to 35 knots with gusts to near 50 knots. Seas 13 to 16 feet. Chance of showers through the night.
Monday
Tropical storm conditions expected with hurricane conditions possible. East winds 25 to 35 knots with gusts to near 50 knots becoming northeast 40 to 50 knots with gusts to near 70 knots in the afternoon. Seas 18 feet building to 24 feet in the afternoon. Showers.
Monday Night
Hurricane conditions possible. North winds 50 to 60 knots becoming northwest after midnight. Gusts up to 85 knots. Seas 23 to 26 feet. Showers in the evening...then showers likely after midnight.
Tuesday
Hurricane conditions possible. Northwest winds 30 to 40 knots with gusts to near 60 knots becoming north 20 to 30 knots with gusts to near 40 knots in the afternoon. Seas 16 feet subsiding to 12 feet in the afternoon. Slight chance of showers.

Hurricane Ida is a category two storm moving through the southern Gulf of
Mexico. The hurricane is expected to move across the Louisiana and
Mississippi coastal waters late Monday and Monday night and then
move toward Alabama and the Florida Panhandle on Tuesday.
