Tropical storm conditions expected with hurricane conditions possible. East winds 25 to 35 knots with gusts to near 45 knots. Seas 13 to 16 feet. Chance of showers.
Monday
Tropical storm conditions expected with hurricane conditions possible. Northeast winds 30 to 40 knots with gusts to near 55 knots. Seas 17 feet building to 21 feet in the afternoon. Showers.
Monday Night
Tropical storm conditions possible with hurricane conditions also possible. North winds 30 to 40 knots with gusts to near 55 knots becoming northwest 20 to 30 knots with gusts to near 45 knots after midnight. Seas 20 feet subsiding to 15 feet after midnight. Chance of showers.
Tuesday
Hurricane conditions possible. North winds 20 to 25 knots. Gusts up to 35 knots in the morning. Seas 10 to 12 feet. Slight chance of showers.

Hurricane Ida is a category two storm moving into the southern Gulf of
Mexico. The hurricane is expected to move across the Louisiana and
Mississippi coastal waters late Monday and Monday night and then
move toward Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.

winds is likely to increase. The latest forecast is for strong tropical
storm force winds from Monday afternoon to early Tuesday morning.

affecting the area toward daybreak Monday.
