Synopsis
Showers and isolated thunderstorms can be expected to spread across the coastal waters this morning with the majority moving across the southern portions from Port Mansfield south to the mouth of the river. The could persist through mid morning and gradually taper off. Otherwise...winds and seas will continue to lower with winds veering slowly east to southeast over the next 24 to 48 hours. Very favorable marine conditions are anticipated Sunday and Monday. A slow and steady increase in winds and seas is anticipated Tuesday through the rest of the week as the next upper trough establishes itself over The Rockies. The pressure gradient begins to tighten with a possible extensive period of small craft advisories for the offshore waters starting Wednesday and continuing into at least the beginning of next weekend.
